Visas

Foreign participants will most likely need to obtain a visa to enter the Russian Federation. The visa application procedure should be launched well in advance at a Russian Consulate in the country of residence. The Organizing Committee will provide you with visa support documents (official letter of invitation) through the University External Relations office if you choose so during your registration. 

Please note that due to the application processing time, your request for the invitation letter should reach the Committee until 15 March 2010 if you are a non-European Union resident and until 31 March 2010 if you are. 

To obtain your visa, please always adhere to the official procedures declared by a Russian Embassy or Consulate of your region. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least another six months since the last date of your stay.
